Product description
This set of two Gispen armchairs, designed by the De Wit Brothers, is a classic example of mid-century modern design. The chairs are characterized by their clean lines and functional aesthetic, making them a timeless addition to any interior. The armchairs are crafted with a chrome-plated tubular frame that provides a sturdy and elegant base. The seat and backrest are upholstered in black faux leather, offering a durable and low-maintenance surface. The armrests feature black Bakelite overlays, contributing to the chairs' authentic character. The chairs are in good condition, commensurate with their age and use. They retain their structural integrity and original finish, contributing to their vintage charm. These Gispen armchairs fit perfectly into a modern, industrial, or vintage-inspired interior. They are ideal as extra seating in a living room, study, or office space, where they add a touch of Dutch design history.
