Private sellerProduct description
This is an iconic set of two Gispen 412 armchairs, complete with a matching footstool. Designed by W.H. Gispen, this model is known for its timeless tubular frame design and unparalleled seating comfort, making it a true classic in Dutch design history.
The chairs and the footstool feature a chrome-plated steel tubular frame that contrasts beautifully with the deep black upholstery. The characteristic spring construction of the sled chair ensures an active yet relaxed seating position. The armrests feature the characteristic black overlays that beautifully complete the sleek silhouette.
The set is in beautiful condition with a light patina befitting the life of the furniture. The chrome still shines beautifully and the upholstery is structurally sound, ensuring the authentic character has been well preserved.
This set feels perfectly at home in a modern, industrial, or vintage interior. Place them in a cozy reading nook or as a striking addition to the living room, where they effortlessly combine style and comfort.
