Product description
This pair of table lamps in the style of French designer Charles Dudouyt is a striking example of robust woodturning from the mid-twentieth century. The lamps are characterized by their sculptural, geometrically worked wooden columns resting on a round, profiled base, creating a powerful and earthy silhouette.
The fixtures are crafted from solid beech wood with a warm, brown hue and feature a light cream-colored textile lampshade. The detailed woodworking displays a repeating diamond pattern that emphasizes the artisanal quality of the design. The lamps have been completely rewired with brown textile cord and fitted with new E27 sockets.
The set is in good condition, befitting its age, with the wood having developed an authentic patina.
