Rare Trieste model folding children's chairs, designed by Aldo Jacober in the 1960s. The minimalist designs of this Italian designer are among the most iconic examples of functionalist Italian post-war design. Made of lacquered wood, the chairs impress with their clear geometric lines and characteristic folding mechanism. The narrow slatted seat and the elegantly curved sides give the chairs an almost graphic appeal. The visible patina of the lacquer is particularly beautiful, lending the chairs an authentic, almost Mediterranean vintage character.
Condition: Used vintage condition with significant age-related wear, chips, and patina on the lacquer. The chairs are sturdy and functional.
