PICK-UP ONLY!!! A symmetrical pair of classic armchairs in the graceful Louis XV style, crafted from wood and textile. This set dates from the 1950s or early 1960s and is characterized by the elegant cabriole legs and the subtle wood carving typical of this period.
The chairs are upholstered in a machine-woven tapestry fabric, also known as tapestry. The backrest depicts a romantic garden scene, a so-called fête galante, while the seat features a floral composition with roses. The patterns on both chairs are exactly the same, attesting to the meticulous upholstery. The construction features sturdy coil springs underneath, contributing to seating comfort.
The armchairs are in good condition, befitting their age. The springs are intact and the armrests have been neatly preserved. The chairs retain their original character and functionality.
