Product description
Exceptional original Fish Chair lounge chairs, designed by Satyendra Pakhalé and produced by the Italian design manufacturer Cappellini. The Fish Chair is one of Pakhalé's most famous sculptural furniture designs. The design was created in 1996; according to the designer's archive, it has been produced by Cappellini since 2005. The chair is manufactured using a rotational molding process from plastic. Its shape is exceptionally organic and its silhouette resembles an abstracted fish. Particularly characteristic is the large circular opening in the side body, which gives lightness to the massive volume. The seat and backrest merge seamlessly into one another, forming a flowing, sculptural line. Pakhalé explicitly conceived the Fish Chair as a relaxed easy chair for a reclined sitting position and for use both indoors and outdoors. Condition: Both pieces are executed in white and are in used original condition. The photos show age- and use-related surface marks, light soiling, abrasion, and individual scratches. Dimensions: L54 x W78 x H71 cm Seat height 31 cm
