Artifort presents two F511s, approximately 10 years old, in red.
With the F500 series, Geoffrey D. Harcourt RDI introduced a new perspective on lounging in the 1960s: informal, intuitive, and attentive to the human body. The inspiration was simple yet significant: his girlfriend often sat cross-legged. A relaxed, feminine posture inspired him to design an armchair that adapts rather than imposes.
The F500 embodies this approach. The wide, inviting seat shell accommodates a variety of seating positions without compromising support and comfort. The sculptural shape rests on a swiveling metal base, giving the design its light, modern character. The F510, F511, and F512 offer additional comfort with thick upholstery. Available in both high and low versions, and in this case with a trumpet base, they offer subtle variation within a strong design language. Our chairs have some minor wear and tear, please see the photos. Otherwise, they are in excellent, clean condition. We both use them, and no children or pets use them for other purposes. We're selling them with a heavy heart, but sometimes it's simply unavoidable.
