Product description
This work, titled 'Yellow Tulips', is a screen print by the Dutch artist Ad van Hassel. The composition displays a lively, expressive floral motif in bright colors, characteristic of his later oeuvre in which nature often served as a source of inspiration. The screen print is executed on paper and features a black frame with a mat. The work is hand-signed and numbered, indicating a limited edition of 3000 copies, of which this is number 2997. The colors yellow, green, and blue dominate the image plane and create a dynamic contrast. On the reverse side is an extensive biography and explanation of the screen printing technique, published by Hassel Art. The artwork is in good condition, with the colors retaining their original intensity. The frame shows light signs of use consistent with its age, and the mat is discolored.
