Product description
The "Profile" armchair by Folke Ohlsson for DUX is an iconic example of mid-century Scandinavian design. Introduced in the 1950s, the chair features a sleek teak frame with elegantly shaped armrests and a refined, organic silhouette. The combination of clean lines and full upholstery characterizes Ohlsson's signature blend of comfort and modern simplicity.
The interior has been completely renovated, while the exterior is upholstered in high-quality wool fabric from Maharam.
Folke Ohlsson was a pioneer in the "knockdown" furniture revolution and contributed to the popularization of the innovative flat-pack production and shipping method. As a key figure in introducing Scandinavian modern design to the United States, he was an internationally recognized designer known for his stylish furniture pieces that remain highly sought-after by collectors today.
