Horváth has also taught as a guest lecturer at the Bálint György Academy of Journalism and at the University of Kaposvár. He participated in the important event in domestic documentary photography, the Nagybaracska Socio Photography Camp, which continues to influence his work. He has been a member of the Association of Hungarian Photographers since 1971.
