Antique canapé / salon sofa approx. 1860 - 1890 - solid wood - 210 cm
*See inspiration photos for the true DIY enthusiast*
Very beautiful and heavy antique canapé from the second half of the 19th century. The sofa is entirely made of solid wood with beautiful hand-carved ornaments and is, considering its age, in neat condition.
The construction is exceptionally solid; the sofa feels like one massive piece and has no play.
In the past, the sofa has been professionally re-upholstered. The webbing has been replaced, while the traditional spring work has been preserved. This makes the sofa still firm and comfortable.
By renewing the underside (springs and webbing), the sofa can last for decades to come.
Solid wooden frame
Hand-carved ornaments
Traditional coil spring system
Later re-upholstered
Very heavy furniture
Beautiful for a classic interior, country house, boutique hotel or as an eye-catcher in a stylish living room.
For pick-up, minimum 2 people due to weight.
Can also be shipped with BRENGER (costs are for yourself)
