The DS 140 sofa, designed by Reto Frigg for the Swiss manufacturer de Sede, dates from the 1980s and embodies the experimental design language of postmodernism. A fascinating contrast is created by the geometry of the body in combination with the adjustable, red headrests. The folding armrests lend flexibility to the design. Fine black original leather meets a cool, precisely crafted chrome frame. The first-class upholstery and durable materials attest to masterful craftsmanship. A carefully cleaned, timeless object in good vintage condition.
