About this seller
ProfessionalProduct description
This is a table lamp from the 1970s, a representative example of Space Age design. The piece is distinguished by its bold color combination and sculptural form, often known as the "Color wire frame" table lamp.
The lamp features a circular base and a protective cylindrical cage, both constructed from red lacquered metal. In the center, a spherical diffuser of white opaline glass emits a soft, ambient light. With dimensions of 17 cm wide, 17 cm deep, and 20 cm high, its compact size makes it versatile. The wiring has been updated to ensure safe and functional use.
The overall condition of the lamp is excellent, showing character and patina consistent with its age. The metal structure and glass globe are preserved in very good condition, maintaining the integrity of the original design and its shiny finish.
This lamp is an ideal accent piece for a sideboard, a bedside table, or a desk. Its retro aesthetic fits perfectly into Mid-Century Modern, Space Age style interiors, or any space looking to add a touch of color and a focal point of historical design.
