Striking vintage chrome chandelier dating from the 1970s, with a wonderfully sculptural Space Age design. The lamp is constructed around a polished chrome central column with three light points positioned at different heights. Each arm is paired with a large curved, half-moon shaped chrome reflector, creating an architectural composition that changes depending on the angle from which the lamp is viewed. The highly reflective surfaces beautifully capture the surrounding room and light, giving the chandelier an almost sculptural or kinetic quality. Fitted with mirrored globe bulbs, as shown in the reference image, the effect is particularly spectacular. A beautiful example of the futuristic Italian-inspired lighting design associated with the 1970s Space Age period.
