Product description
Distinctive Italian Space Age wall mirror dating from the 1970s.
The mirror features a strong geometric design composed of a rectangular smoked mirrored panel with softly rounded corners and a contrasting circular clear mirror at its center. The bronze-toned smoked surface creates depth and changes character depending on the surrounding light, while the circular central element gives the piece its characteristic sculptural Space Age appearance.
The combination of simple geometry, layered mirrored surfaces and warm smoked tones makes this an excellent example of decorative Italian modernist design from the 1970s. Its generous proportions make it particularly effective as a statement mirror in an entrance hall, living room, bedroom or dressing area.
Presented in good original vintage condition with minor signs of age and use consistent with its period. There is one minor chip, documented in the detailed photographs.
