Distinctive Italian Space Age wall mirror dating from the 1970s, combining a bold red lacquered wooden frame with a decorative surround of segmented smoked mirrored glass.
The composition centers around a large circular mirror bordered by smoked mirror panels that create depth and a sophisticated contrast between clear and tinted reflective surfaces. The sculptural red lacquered outer frame emphasizes the strong geometric form and gives the piece its unmistakable 1970s retro-futurist character.
The combination of vivid color, smoked glass and circular geometry makes this an especially decorative example of Italian Space Age design.
