Product description
1970s Danish Modern Brown Leather Three-Seater Sofa – Scandinavian Mid-Century Design
An elegant and beautifully proportioned Danish Modern three-seater sofa from the 1970s, featuring original brown leather upholstery, sculptural armrests, and a solid beech wood frame.
This sophisticated vintage sofa exemplifies the timeless qualities of Scandinavian mid-century furniture design, combining architectural simplicity, functional comfort, and exceptional attention to proportion.
The sofa features three generously padded removable seat cushions and three matching back cushions, all upholstered in original brown leather that has developed a distinctive natural patina over time.
Its elegant armrests feature gently curved upper profiles, creating a refined sculptural silhouette. Decorative piping along the cushions and upholstered frame emphasizes the sofa’s clean geometry and carefully considered construction.
The solid beech wood structure is complemented by dark-stained wooden legs, providing a subtle contrast to the warm brown leather upholstery.
The original leather exhibits natural creasing, tonal variations, and age-related wear, reflecting its authentic vintage character.
With its generous seating capacity and restrained Scandinavian aesthetic, this sofa would make a sophisticated addition to a contemporary living room, modernist residence, architectural interior, executive office, or curated mid-century furniture collection.
