Product description
Minimalist Space Age Acrylic Glass Coffee Table (Octagon) – 1970s
Design & Aesthetics
This rare coffee table from the 1970s combines the futuristic aesthetic of the Space Age with the clean lines of the Bauhaus tradition:
Geometric Architecture: The octagonal tabletop creates clean lines and a play of perspectives in the room.
Floating Effect: Thanks to the highly transparent, thick Lucit/acrylic glass, the table appears visually weightless – ideal for showcasing rugs or architectural details in the room.
Bauhaus-Inspired Construction: The four legs, angled in a V-profile, are directly attached to the tabletop with chrome-plated Allen screws. Function and construction details are deliberately emphasized as design elements.
