As a professional artist since the 1980s, his artistic expression has taken various forms over the years. He describes his style as an unconscious, often chaotic and explosive application of paint to the canvas, hidden in unplanned figures, objects, and abstract compositions. Jovan's lively compositions are often created with a palette knife, but his Pop/Street Art style works also use spray paint, acrylic markers, or pastel crayons.
