Product description
Unique large abstract expressionist painting from the "Abstract Face" series with a total large canvas size (with extra white borders) of 120 x 105 x 01 cm. The work was painted in 2025. The painting will be shipped rolled up, without a stretcher frame. Once mounted on the frame, the canvas size (image) is: 110 x 95 x 2 cm.
Please note: For buyers in the Netherlands who wish to pick up the painting themselves, it is possible, in consultation and for a fee, to have the canvas stretched onto a stretcher frame.
In this work, I let go of my deepest emotions, causing bold colors and dynamic color addition on the canvas to intersect in a dynamic dance. A sense of harmony emerges from the chaos.
Paint was applied to the canvas with a palette knife – acrylic paint on XXL canvas. Varnished, and with a certificate of authenticity.
The dynamism, expression, and freedom of the artist's artistic expression are clearly visible. This work fits well in a modern interior or office space. Condition of the work is excellent, varnished, with certificate of authenticity
Original, very unique abstract expressionist work by a Dutch professional / contemporary artist (since the early 1980s) (1962)... For over 40 years as an artist, Jovan sold his work all over the world to private individuals, art collectors, and companies. During his long career as an artist, he also exhibited at various Art Fairs. Jovan works 7 days a week in his own Art Studio / Gallery in the Netherlands.
The chaos of ideas that originated in my head, the inner deprived energy, wants to come out like a volcano and thus become an explosion and a symphony of colors on the canvas, framed with matter, figures, faces, or an abstract composition.
From the unconscious, often chaotic and explosive application of paint to the canvas, emerge: initially unplanned figures, objects, portraits, or an abstract composition. Just like the unplanned conception of a child: birth, growing up, to personality formation and his life. Often conceived unintentionally, we are born, grow up, and we are all framed in the body, our frame, but each is unique in his own way.
