Product description
This is a distinctive Italian desk chair from the 1960s, crafted in the Mid-Century Modern style. Its strong, architectural silhouette and warm cognac-coloured upholstery exemplify the functional elegance of the era's design principles.
The chair features a generously proportioned seat and backrest, fully upholstered in a durable brown Skai that mimics the appearance of leather. It is mounted on a five-star swivel base constructed from metal, which provides both stability and mobility via its original casters. The design is characteristic of Italian office furniture from the period, combining robust construction with a refined aesthetic.
Presented in very good vintage condition, the chair retains its structural integrity and visual appeal. The Skai upholstery is well-preserved, showing a light patina that adds to its authentic character. The metal base shows minor signs of age and use, consistent with its history.
This piece would serve as a commanding focal point in a home office or study. Its timeless design complements a range of interior styles, from classic Mid-Century Modern to more contemporary or eclectic spaces, pairing well with both wood and metal furnishings.
Seat height adjustable 42-48 cm
