A sculptural set of three Mid-Century Modern nesting tables, produced in Czechoslovakia during the 1960s and crafted entirely from solid oak. Each table features a distinctive softly rounded triangular top supported by three solid wooden legs. The three progressively scaled sizes create a particularly attractive architectural composition when displayed together, while allowing each table to function independently as a side, end or occasional table. The design is characterized by its restrained construction, organic geometry and beautifully visible oak grain. Rounded edges soften the triangular silhouettes, while the substantial solid-wood construction gives the pieces a strong tactile quality characteristic of Central European modernist furniture of the period. The three different sizes make the set highly versatile. They can be arranged as a cascading group beside a sofa or lounge chair, separated throughout an interior, or used as occasional tables, bedside tables or plant stands. The tables have been carefully refurbished, highlighting the natural grain and warm tone of the solid oak while preserving their authentic vintage character. Minor signs of age and use remain.
