Product description
This single bed frame was designed by Børge Mogensen for C. Danel during the 1960s. The piece exemplifies the functionalist approach of Danish mid-century design, characterised by clean lines and an emphasis on natural materials. Constructed from wood, the frame features a two-tone finish that highlights the grain and adds visual depth to the minimalist silhouette. The design incorporates a slatted base, ensuring both structural integrity and comfort. The warm brown tones of the wood are typical of the era, reflecting a commitment to craftsmanship and enduring quality. The bed frame remains in good condition, retaining its structural soundness and original character. The wood displays a natural patina consistent with its age and history of use. This piece is well-suited for a guest room or a child's bedroom, integrating seamlessly into Scandinavian or mid-century modern interiors. Its understated elegance allows it to pair effortlessly with a variety of textiles and bedroom furnishings. Mattress dimensions: 200 x 100 cm
