Product description
A refined Italian chest of drawers from the 1940s, embodying the sophisticated taste of the Art Déco period and featuring a stunning walnut burl veneer with intense, deep, and dramatic grain patterns.
The front is embellished with natural, highly decorative designs, characterized by symmetrical motifs and a palette that shifts from warm amber tones to darker shades, creating an exceptionally captivating effect.
The structure features soft, rounded lines, with smoothed corners, understated sides, and a top surface defined by sinuous curves.
The piece rests on a solid, contoured base, accented by elegant moldings that reflect the stylistic language of the era.
The chest offers four spacious drawers, each showcasing a harmonious arrangement of wood grain and fitted with classic-style handles and matching keyhole escutcheons that further enhance the front.
The richness of the burl wood makes each drawer an integral part of the overall decorative composition, lending the piece a strong aesthetic identity.
The sides—finished in wood with a warm, uniform tone—contribute to the piece's overall balance, while the craftsmanship of the corners and base reveals a meticulous attention to proportion and detail.
A chest of drawers with a commanding presence, it is an ideal choice for an elegant bedroom, a grand entryway, or a sophisticated living room.
The visual splendor of the walnut burl and the characteristic forms of the 1940s make this a piece that stands out in both classic and contemporary interiors, where it can serve as a refined element of contrast.
