About this seller
ProfessionalProduct description
A striking Italian Art Deco pendant light from the 1930s, showcasing the quintessential geometric elegance and craftsmanship of the period. This sophisticated fixture features a central, warm amber glass spherical shade nestled within a dynamic, openwork metal frame. Embracing the central globe are two crescent-shaped clear glass panels, beautifully accented with delicate, frosted/etched floral and foliate motifs. A dark wood or patinated metal spherical element crowns the top of the frame, adding a refined structural detail to its vertical axis.
With its bold lines and balanced symmetry, this chandelier projects a warm, atmospheric glow, making it a perfect statement piece for an entryway, dining area, or living space. Fully functional with EU standard wiring, easily adaptable to US standards upon request.
Good vintage condition. The piece retains its beautiful original character, showing honest signs of time, wear, and a desirable age-related patina on the metalwork that enhances its authentic antique appeal. Structurally sound. (We always recommend professional rewiring for vintage lighting fixtures prior to installation).
