This 19-piece Ruska (Finnish for “autumn foliage”) dinner serveware set by Arabia is a landmark of Nordic ceramic design—earthy, tactile, and unapologetically warm. Designed by the legendary Ulla Procopé in the 1960s and produced through the 1970s, Ruska remains one of Arabia’s most beloved patterns. Its signature brown-glazed stoneware with reactive, almost lava-like texture feels primordial. Each piece bears the subtle variation of handmade soul—no two exactly alike. What’s included (19 pieces total): · 5 large saucers · 6 medium saucers · 6 small saucers · 1 bowl with lid · 1 sauce bowl All pieces are in good vintage condition—no cracks, no restorations. Honest wear consistent with careful use (a few light utensil marks on saucers). The glaze remains deep, glossy, and rich. Complete Ruska sets of this size are increasingly rare. Most were broken up over decades. This one survived intact—ready for Sunday morning coffee,
Midsummer tea, or display in a glass-fronted cabinet next to Alvar Aalto and Hans Wegner.
