Product description
A beautiful and large 18th-century Georgian oak mule chest, featuring a hinged lid, two drawers, and a beautifully paneled front. A classic and highly decorative piece of English storage furniture.
The chest is in excellent antique condition and is structurally sound. There is a crack in the lid, consistent with its age, as well as attractive wear that contribute to its exceptional character and patina. The drawers show particularly fine wear from centuries of use, enhancing its authenticity. Finished with brass hardware. See photos for details.
