Product description
French provincial 18th-century chest, handcrafted from solid oak using traditional mortise-and-tenon and pegged construction. The restrained façade features grooved uprights, a shaped lower rail and a small hand-carved sunburst motif. The moulded hinged top opens to a generous storage compartment. Beautiful aged patina with wear, cracks, marks and minor losses consistent with age. Evidence of historical alterations to the hardware. L : 128 cm / P 61cm / H 68 cm
