Cut chairs by the Italian brand Lapalma, designed by Francesco Rota. Sixteen identical units are available. The Cut owes its name to the way the shape is constructed: a sleekly cut shell with an outer shell finished in matte black and an interior upholstered in a single continuous plane. That sharp dividing line between the black shell and the upholstery along the top edge makes the model instantly recognizable and gives the chair a timeless, understated look that will not quickly become dated.
The shell is made of Baydur polyurethane, a dense and impact-resistant material that Lapalma specifically uses for intensive use because it lasts for years without discoloring or deforming. The interior is lined with fire-retardant foam and a dark melange fabric, ensuring the chair is comfortable to sit in without losing its sleek lines.
This version stands on a black five-star base with wheels and is infinitely height-adjustable via the gas spring, from approximately forty-two to fifty-two centimeters seat height. This makes the Cut highly versatile: as an office chair or conference chair, but just as well at home at a dining table, kitchen island, sewing table, or as a standalone extra seat in a living room, study, or hobby room. This is also a good option for private individuals looking for one or a few sturdy designer chairs with a distinctive look. Lapalma manufactures in Italy and is known for meticulous detailing.
The chairs come from an office environment and are in good condition with minor signs of use. The gas springs work, the chairs swivel smoothly, and the wheels run well. There are no cracks in the shells and no damage to the upholstery.

A tiered pricing structure is negotiable for orders of multiple units. The complete batch of sixteen identical units can also be purchased as a whole, for example, when an entire space needs to look uniform at once, such as an open-plan office, meeting room, studio, or coworking space; the price for this is subject to negotiation. This model costs several hundred euros per piece new, so purchasing it individually or as a batch saves a considerable amount. An invoice can be provided for companies.
