Beautiful vintage condition, with only very minimal signs of wear, which only adds to the charm! Original price: €1566 per chair. Current price: €5699 for the complete set of 8!

Four chairs have a small tear in the base plate, but you don't feel it when sitting on them.
The other 6 chairs do not have this!
The plate can also be replaced, by the way.

The Cassina cab chair is a 1977 design by Mario Bellini. The chair was designed as an answer to what the precise nature of furniture should be. The chair is therefore an extension of the body and has a look that blends beautifully into the room without being inconspicuous. The design features an enameled steel frame with a seat and backrest covered in soft polyurethane foam. The entire structure, including the legs, is upholstered in luxurious, coarsely stitched saddle leather. This leather is connected to the design by four deliberately visible zippers. It's no easy task; the taut leather is pulled taut with pliers until it can be completely closed. For its time, it was quite unique to also provide the legs with padding. He immediately transformed the chair into a beautiful and innovative design. It's no coincidence that the Cab chair remains one of Cassina's bestsellers.
The chair is 82 centimeters high, 52 centimeters wide, and 54 centimeters deep. The seat height is 45 centimeters.
The Cab chair is part of the Cassina collection. Cassina is an Italian manufacturer founded in 1927 by Umberto Cassina. The collection consists of many design classics and timeless pieces. It's impossible to imagine the world of design without Cassina's knowledge and experience of traditional craftsmanship. Moreover, the label holds the rights to many major designers, including Gerrit Rietveld.
