About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
A set of ten screen prints depicting the iconic portrait of Marilyn Monroe, executed in the distinctive style of the Pop Art movement. This series pays homage to Andy Warhol's famous work, with the Hollywood legend's face repeated in diverse, vibrant color palettes.
Each print in this 'Blue Grass Edition' is a square of 92 by 92 centimeters, printed on paper. The screen printing technique allows for the bright, contrasting colors and graphic quality of the images. The collection displays a spectrum of color combinations, from bright pink and yellow to deep blue and green, giving each print a unique character within the cohesive series.
The overall condition of the set is very good, retaining the bright and saturated colors essential to the Pop Art aesthetic. The prints are consistent in quality and presentation, making them an impressive ensemble. This series is a powerful and decorative addition to an interior.
This collection of ten works can be presented together as a striking 'gallery wall' or hung individually to bring color and a touch of art history into different spaces. They fit perfectly into a modern, eclectic, or minimalist interior where they can serve as a bold visual statement.
