Product description
A set of ten vintage dining chairs, manufactured in Italy in the style of Marcel Breuer. These chairs are a tribute to the iconic Cesca design, a milestone in 20th-century furniture history. The design combines an industrial tubular frame with natural, artisanal materials, resulting in a timeless aesthetic. The chairs are constructed from a white lacquered steel tubular frame, bent into a cantilevered shape. This cantilever construction, a characteristic of the Bauhaus movement, provides a slight spring and a comfortable seating experience. The seat and backrest are made of Viennese rattan cane work, which forms a warm and airy contrast with the sleek metal frame. Production in Italy guarantees a long tradition of craftsmanship in furniture production. The overall condition of the set is good and consistent with age and use. The chairs have retained their original finish and structural integrity. The patina that has formed over the years contributes to the authentic character of this vintage set. 1 chair has minor damage to the cane work, still intact (see photo), 1 is missing caps on top (see photo), otherwise all are still neat. This set is ideal as dining chairs in a modern, eclectic or Mid-Century interior. They offer a uniform and stylish seating solution for a large dining table and add a touch of design history to any space.
