The Vitra Eames EA 124 armchair and matching EA 125 footstool form an iconic duo in modern furniture design. Designed by Charles and Ray Eames, this set embodies the perfect balance between functionality and refined aesthetics characteristic of the Mid-Century Modern period. Both pieces are crafted with high-quality brown leather upholstery, stretched tightly over an elegant chrome-plated aluminium frame. The EA 124 armchair features a comfortable headrest and a reclining mechanism, ensuring optimal seating comfort. The set bears the original Vitra label, underscoring the authenticity and enduring value of this design. The set is in good condition, with the leather having developed a light, natural patina that adds to the character of the furniture. The chrome-plated frame retains its shine and structural integrity, attesting to the durable construction. This Eames set comes into its own perfectly in a reading nook, a home office, or as a striking element in a modern living room. The timeless design combines effortlessly with both classic and contemporary interior styles.
