Product description
A set of three wall or ceiling lamps, designed by Frank Ligtelijn for the Dutch manufacturer Raak Amsterdam. This model, known as the 'Globe' or 'bollamp', is an iconic design from 1968 and a classic within Dutch Design.
Each lamp consists of a smoked glass sphere resting on a cylindrical metal base. The combination of the smoke-grey glass and the brass-colored base creates a warm and atmospheric light. The lamps were manufactured in the Netherlands and represent the characteristic aesthetic of the Space Age period, where geometric shapes and innovative material use were central.
The set is in good vintage condition, consistent with its age and use. The original elements have been preserved, contributing to the authentic character of the lamps. The glass spheres are intact and the overall construction is solid.
These versatile lamps can be mounted on both the wall and the ceiling. They fit perfectly into a Mid-Century Modern, minimalist, or eclectic interior, where they can be used as a group or individually to add a subtle design accent.
These are 3 different sizes: 42, 35 and 28 cm high
