This is an authentic side table by the Dutch manufacturer Rohé Noordwolde, dating from the 1950s. The piece is a characteristic example of mid-century design, where natural materials and functional design come together. The characteristic triangular shape and the use of bamboo make this a recognizable and beloved design from that period. The construction consists of a frame of bent bamboo, firmly connected with rattan windings. The tabletop is made of 'cloud glass', a type of textured glass that subtly refracts light and is typical for furniture from this era. The natural, warm color of the bamboo gives the furniture a light and airy appearance. The table is in good vintage condition, consistent with its age and use. The bamboo has developed an authentic patina over the years, contributing to the character and history of the object. The construction is still solid and the original glass top is intact.
