Product description
This iconic freestanding Desk Model 77 was designed in the 1960s by Gunni Omann for the Omann Jun Møbelfabrik in Denmark. The piece represents a classic of Scandinavian Mid-Century design and impresses with its clear design language and warm teak wood grain. The solid teak body features double-sided drawer elements on the front, some of which are lockable. The elaborately designed back offers open compartments and a lockable central compartment, making the Desk ideal for free placement in the room. Originally conceived as a representative work or executive Desk, the piece of furniture measures 156 cm in width, 79 cm in depth, and 73 cm in height. The Desk is in good vintage condition and shows an authentic patina. The surfaces show the original character of the wood and bear witness to the high-quality craftsmanship typical of Omann Jun. This coveted design object fits perfectly into sophisticated home office environments or modern living concepts. As a freestanding element, the Desk unfolds its full architectural effect and harmonizes particularly well with other Mid-Century furniture.
