About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is the Seat of Love, a unique Louis XIV armchair that combines classic forms with a distinctive, artistic finish. The design stands out due to the rich mix of materials and the detailed, hand-embroidered floral patterns that give the chair a lively and eclectic character.
The armchair is constructed from a sturdy wooden frame, the elegant woodcarving of which is hand-painted. The upholstery consists of various textile patchwork elements, executed in a multicolored palette with striking accents in green, blue, and pink. These mixed techniques make the piece of furniture a true 'one of a kind' art project that intrigues both visually and tactilely.
The chair is in beautiful condition and retains its original charm and functionality. The craftsmanship and careful finish are clearly visible, contributing to the authentic appearance of this special object.
This armchair comes into its own perfectly as a striking statement piece in an eclectic or bohemian interior. It is an inviting addition to a living room or reading nook, where it adds color and personality to the space.
