Original Tweety Dining Chair by the Italian Matteo Grassi, crafted in beautiful thick black harness leather (Coach Hide) on a minimalist black steel sled frame.
The Tweety is an example of understated Italian design: an extremely slender metal base combined with a seat and back that visually consist of almost a single continuous plane. The leather fits tightly around the contours and is beautifully finished all around with visible stitching.
The combination of the fine lines of the steel frame and the sturdy, high-quality harness leather gives the chair its luxurious yet austere appearance.
COMFORT
Despite its minimalist look, the Tweety is not a hard harness leather shell chair. Beneath the leather, the seat is constructed with molded foam and comfortable polyurethane padding. As a result, the seat feels pleasantly soft and comfortable, while the thick leather gives the chair its characteristic sleek shape. MATTEOGRASSI
Matteograssi is an Italian manufacturer with a long tradition in high-quality leather craftsmanship. The brand is particularly known for combining architectural furniture design with exceptionally beautifully finished leather.
The Tweety was designed by Matteograssi's own C.R.S. and is crafted in the manufacturer's signature Coach Hide / Harness Leather.

CONDITION
In very neat used condition. The black leather is still particularly beautiful and supple, showing only a few light signs of wear. The stitching and the frame also present very neatly.

An elegant, timeless chair that works excellently as a standalone desk chair or accent chair, but naturally also as a dining chair. Its understated form combines beautifully with, among others, B&B Italia, Cassina, Poltrona Frau, Flexform, Maxalto, Zanotta, De Padova, and Zeus.
