About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This mid-century recliner from the 1950s combines a classic silhouette with striking, contemporary upholstery. The design stands out with its flowing lines and retractable function, ensuring optimal seating comfort.
The armchair has been fully restored, including the internal structure, and has been reupholstered with a unique patchwork of woven jacquard designed by Irene van Vliet. The fabric displays a rich palette of colors, including blue, pink, green, and beige, featuring detailed nature motifs. The chair rests on angled wooden legs typical of the production period.
The furniture is in excellent condition thanks to the recent restoration and reupholstering. The construction is sturdy, and the retractable mechanism functions properly.
This armchair is a distinctive statement piece that fits well in an eclectic or modern interior. It offers a comfortable reading or resting spot in a living room or study.
