The only info on the Internet about photographer Jon Joosten from Ottawa - Canada ends in the 70-ies. On (color) photo No. 6, on the back is the year 1975. The black and white photos are older, 50s or 60s, as seen in photo No. 1 of Mrs. H. Zaggerman. The photograph of the bride and groom is double-sided. The condition of the collection is clear from the photographs: fine, stylish, aged. Handwritten notes on some back sides and gilt signatures of the photographer on the front. That this collection was found in Nijmegen - the Netherlands is not surprising, given the city's "Canadian past": in 1944, thousands of Canadian soldiers bivouacked for months in and around front city Nijmegen, and many long-standing relationships with civilians arose from that. The surname Joosten is clearly Dutch. Anyway, a fine collection, this seven survivors....
Traces of use as in photos.
