The Beginnings of Magis
Magis was founded in 1976 by Eugenio Perazza in northern Italy, near Venice. The brand was born out of a vision to make contemporary design accessible to a wide audience, without compromising on quality or craftsmanship. Magis began as a small company, but quickly grew into an influential player in the design world. One of Magis' earliest successes was the "Bombo" bar stool, designed by Stefano Giovannoni in 1997. This iconic stool with its distinctive trumpet-shaped base and height-adjustable seat quickly became a symbol of contemporary design and captured the hearts of design enthusiasts around the world.
