For decades, this Dutch brand has enriched the world of lighting with its unique designs, craftsmanship and commitment to quality.
History of Dijkstra Lampen
The Dijkstra Lampen brand began in 1960 when Mr. Wiet Dijkstra founded the company. It was located in the Frisian town of Joure and the company began producing lampshades. It began as a modest enterprise, but quickly grew into a renowned brand in the field of lighting. Dijkstra Lampen's craftsmanship was soon reflected in the quality of their products. Fixtures and handmade lampshades quickly became synonymous with Dijkstra Lampen, and the company gained recognition for its dedication to detail and design.
Iconic Designs
Dijkstra Lampen has become so beloved because of the iconic designs they have created. The lamps are often recognizable for their timeless and classic aesthetic. The brand has a wide range of designs, from elegant and sophisticated to modern and bold. The table lamp "Dijkstra 2232" is one of their most iconic designs. With a metal base and glass lampshade, it is a truly timeless design that can last for years. It exemplifies the simplicity and elegance that Dijkstra Lampen strives for in all their designs.
Handmade

Whether made of glass, metal or fabric, the brand carefully selects the best materials to ensure not only a beautiful lamp, but also a durable and functional one.
