About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is a vintage wall light of the Strimma model by Ikea, an example of the brand's accessible Scandinavian design from the late 20th century. The lamp is characterized by its elegantly curved shade made of light wood, which creates a warm and diffused light.
The construction consists of a shade made of molded wood veneer, mounted on a discreet wall bracket made of gray painted metal. Vertical slots in the shade create a decorative light pattern and contribute to atmospheric lighting. The lamp is operated via a white cable with an integrated switch, allowing for easy installation without fixed wiring.
The overall condition of this lamp is very good, indicating careful use over the years. The wood has a uniform surface and the electrical components are functional. The lamp retains its original character and vintage appeal.
As accent lighting, the Strimma wall light is ideal for hallways, bedrooms, or as a reading light next to an armchair. Its minimalist and natural design seamlessly integrates into modern, Scandinavian, or mid-century inspired interiors.
