Product description
This piece is a high-quality reproduction of an antique botanical plate, mounted on wooden supports for wall hanging. The work is a reproduction of a German illustration titled "Zimmerpflanzen II", from the famous reference work "Meyers Konversations-Lexikon", published by the Bibliographisches Institut in Leipzig.
The poster is printed on aged-look paper, with detailed illustrations of various houseplants, each identified by its scientific name. The rich colors and precision of the drawings, characteristic of 19th-century botanical illustrations, are faithfully reproduced. The color palette is varied, on a cream background, and the whole is framed by two dark-stained wooden rods, adding a touch of authenticity.
The general condition of this reproduction is excellent. The patinated appearance and slight stains on the paper are intentional design elements, aiming to recreate the charm and character of a genuine vintage educational plate.
This wall poster fits perfectly into classic, rustic, or bohemian interiors. It brings a touch of nature and academic elegance to a living room, office, or library, and harmonizes beautifully with green plants and natural materials.
