Product description
A wall mirror from the 1950s characterised by a brass frame with a rectangular shape and rounded corners. The design is restrained, with a slender profile following the perimeter of the mirrored surface and a curved decorative element at the top, giving the piece an elegant and understated appearance. The frame is made of brass with a warm, darkened finish, showing subtle variations in tone acquired over time. The rounded metal profile encloses the mirror and extends in depth along the sides, creating a structure that stands slightly away from the wall. At the top, a slender arched brass element with curled ends introduces an ornamental detail that interrupts the linearity of the frame without overwhelming its design. The combination of the simple geometry of the structure and the small decorative element at the top gives the mirror a restrained character, in which the metalwork and the patina acquired over time become an integral part of the object's aesthetic.
