A rare and distinctive WMF 2001 Blitz wall-mounted coffee machine, finished in highly polished Chromargan stainless steel. A beautiful example of German industrial design and WMF’s professional catering heritage.Designed for professional wall-mounted use, the machine features a cylindrical boiler, large filter holder, glass water-level indicator and a separate 2-litre coffee warming container. The level indicator is graduated for brewing up to approximately 14 cups at a time.This appears to be an early version of the WMF 2001 series, characterised by its black back panel with chrome surround, classic raised WMF badge and highly polished Chromargan finish. Based on these design features, the machine most likely dates from the 1960s, although its exact year of manufacture has not been conclusively established.What makes this particular example especially attractive is its remarkable completeness. The original removable parts and accessories have been preserved, including the various original filters/filter inserts, and are included with the machine.The coffee machine is also still in working condition.
