Product description
Vintage table lamp, presumably manufactured in West Germany by Walter Gerhards, a characteristic example of mid-20th century ceramics. The design is characterized by its striking, amphora-shaped base and the original fabric lampshade, which together diffuse a warm and atmospheric light.
The lamp base is made of ceramic with a vibrant orange and brown glaze, typical of the 'Fat Lava' style. The base is marked with 'W. GERMANY' and the model number '985-30'. The original lampshade is made of a beige textile and decorated with a decorative band in red and brown tones.
The lamp is in very good, original condition. Both the ceramic base and the lampshade are virtually in new condition, the original wiring and switch have been checked and are working properly.
