Product description
Adorable enameled ceramic table bell (or service bell) from the vintage era (circa 1960). This collectible piece with a distinct kitsch style was a very popular souvenir object in the mid-20th century.
The sculpted upper part takes the form of a small squirrel with large, expressive eyes. The bell's skirt features an elegant inscription painted in fine gold "Ring for dinner" (Ring for dinner), topped with a decorative golden monogram.
The inside of the white earthenware bell has its original porcelain clapper fixed by a metal rod. A very unusual and humorous piece, ideal for decorating a cabinet of curiosities or a retro table.
