About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This Armchair is a characteristic example of the brutalist style of the 1970s, crafted from solid pine wood. Its striking silhouette is defined by the combination of robust wood, a backrest made of real animal fur, and a soft seat cushion, making it an expressive standalone piece of furniture.
The frame of the Armchair consists of solid, honey-colored waxed pine wood, known for its lively grain and warm tone. The curved, wide armrests and the block-like construction are typical features of the design of this era. The backrest is covered with brown-grey animal fur, while the loose seat cushion is made of a black textile. Side metal struts complete the rustic material palette.
The piece of furniture is in good condition, consistent with its age and history. The wood shows an authentic patina that emphasizes its vintage character. The combination of materials gives the Armchair a unique feel and a strong visual presence.
With its distinctive design, this Armchair seamlessly fits into rustic, eclectic, or Mid-Century style living spaces. It works excellently as an accent piece in a living room, library, or reading nook, adding a warm, earthy touch to any room.
