A special piece for lovers of Mid-Century design and high-quality vintage furniture.
This elegant sideboard was designed in 1963 by the German designer Georg Satink and produced by WK Möbel (serial number 108, piece number 30). It comes from its first owner: the original owner purchased it in 1968. The original purchase invoice is present, as well as the necessary CITES/EU documentation.
What makes this piece of furniture special is primarily its beautiful execution in Rio Rosewood. The exterior has a rich, expressive and almost continuous wood grain, giving the sideboard a very beautiful and calm appearance. The light maple interior provides a nice contrast to the dark rosewood.
The slender, chrome-plated metal legs give the furniture an airy look and make it seem to float above the floor. The combination of warm wood, light interior, and chrome is characteristic of the refined aesthetic of the Mid-Century era.
The sideboard has a timeless and minimalist design that looks beautiful in both a Mid-Century interior and a contemporary setting. Behind its doors, it also offers generous storage space.
Condition: very good, commensurate with age.
